We’re a cozy, home-based daycare in Lakeview Terrace built on over a decade of experience working with children in both educational and community settings. Our mission is to provide a warm, safe, and inspiring space where little ones can grow, explore, and thrive — just like they would in a loving extended family.

Our Philosophy

At Clubhouse Daycare, we understand the significance of your child’s formative years and the trust you place in us as caregivers. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a nurturing, enriching, and safe space to grow, explore and develop into their unique selves. We firmly believe that there are no "bad kids." Every child is unique and deserving of understanding, patience, and respect. We strive to create an environment where children feel emotionally secure, encouraged to express themselves, and inspired to explore their imagination. Through carefully designed activities and play, we aim to provide the foundation for their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Our Founder

Hi, I’m Mel, the founder of Clubhouse Daycare. I’m a Christian, and my faith is the heart behind everything I do — especially in caring for children. I believe each child is a precious gift, uniquely created and deeply loved by God.

For a decade now, I’ve worked with children through several companies and organizations including Glendale Unified School District and the City of Glendale. This daycare was born out of a calling to provide a place where children feel secure, celebrated, and seen — not just physically cared for, but nurtured in heart and spirit as well.

We serve homemade meals made with organic ingredients, and we structure our days around creativity, loving guidance, outdoor play, and meaningful routines.

The Team

Your child will be cared for by a small, trusted team of compassionate and experienced caregivers. We keep our child-to-adult ratio low so every child receives thoughtful attention and loving support.

We’re excited to welcome three additional caregivers, each chosen for their warmth, integrity, and shared dedication to nurturing young children with patience and joy. [We’ll be introducing them here soon!]
